Thanks to the unwavering support of our anglers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community, Brewed in Canada's 6th Annual Fishing Derbies raised an amazing $51,309 for BC Children's Hospital Foundation.

Our Okanagan Lake and Shuswap Lake derbies continue to bring together people who share a passion for fishing and a commitment to giving back. Every registration, sponsorship, donation, auction bid, and volunteer hour helped make this year's fundraising efforts a tremendous success.

On July 18–19, Team Brewed in Canada proudly took the field at Bats for a Cause at Mission Sports Fields in Kelowna. While we enjoyed a competitive weekend on the diamond—winning all three games on Saturday before falling in both games on Sunday—we left with the biggest victory of all.

We were honoured to present our $51,309 donation to BC Children's Hospital Foundation alongside the other participating teams. Together, the Bats for a Cause event raised an incredible $130,109, demonstrating the power of communities coming together to support children and families across British Columbia.

This year's contribution also marks another exciting milestone for Brewed in Canada. Since our first derby, we have now raised more than a quarter of a million dollars for BC Children's Hospital Foundation. What began as an idea to combine our love of fishing with supporting an important cause has grown into a community-driven tradition that continues to make a meaningful impact.
